Reference over authority

• Teams are horizontal as much as possible, open for discussion with no single decision maker
• We have technical discussions with good arguments, convincing by being a reference in the subject and not by enforcing authority

Collaboration

• We nurture an open environment where getting help is easy and encouraged
• We value helping and unblocking others as we value being productive ourselves
• There's no dumb question. Every member has their own context and pace. Asking questions is encouraged and we welcome them always, even basic ones, even repeated ones

Human communication

• Good, human communication is essential; be in daily meetings, Slack or code review comments, we are always careful when communicating with each other
• We presume good intention, i.e., communication we receive should not be considered offensive first
• But if something goes sideways, we appreciate and are open to early feedback, following a feedback etiquette
